Love triangle set in China during WW2. Randolph Scott plays a brave doctor caught between his comely coworker (Ruth Warrick) and his socialite spouse (Ellen Drew). The set-up itself is not very inspired but that is not the problem. The main issue is that the movie makes the wife character very annoying and shrill so you're already checked out and want things wrapped up quickly. There's a more compelling subplot about a Korean doctor's inner conflict to spy for the Japanese and his love for a Chinese nurse. By the way, Anthony Quinn is in this.
