The Wachowski's lesbian themed crime drama is a slick sexy thriller with a pair of strong performances by Gina Gershon and Jennifer Tilly. Borrowing from the likes of Billy Wilder and Alfred HItchcock, the two portray complex vulnerable protagonists facing against a desperate but dangerous enemy when their plan for a clean getaway go awry.

Slick & sizzling - a mix of noir and crime thriller - Gina Gershon and Jennifer Tilly steam up the screen in this little gem from the Wachowski Bros. (before they started a little project called The Matrix). A good one to check out.

A pleasant surprise from Matrix directors Andy and Larry. It is well executed in pacing, suspense, cinematography and action. Plot is a little thin at times but it is worth a rent, especially for W fans who want to see where it all began.
