Quite suprising and somewhat engaging. The ending is good, because the alternate one (on the dvd) seems maybe too extreme for most.

I was really surprised by how good this show was. It is disturbing, dramatic and suspenseful. The kids do a great job. Kutcher is quite good as well (and I don't actually like him much as an actor).

This is an excellent movie for anyone into intense concept movies. Like the movie Jacobs latter this is a movie you really have to follow and come up with your own concepts to debate over coffee with friends. Butterfly Effect starts with the wrong doing of the parent left in charge of babysitting Ashtons child character. From this traumatic childhood experience you are left following Ashtons character from adolescence to adulthood through worm holes of time. This is a great movie for those interested in subjects such as psychology and the Chaos Theory. I give it two thumbs up!

This movie's about a college student who suffered from strange blackouts when he was young. One day he begins reading his old diary entries, of the time when he had the blackouts, which took him back to that time. He soon realizes he can change the past, but each time he arrives back in the present, there is a deadlier consequence. This was a really good movie, but it was sortta creepy and disturbing in a way. I'm thinking that its a low-key thriller, rather than drama and fantasy... but anyways, watch it, it is a truly interesting movie.

This one just misses the mark. It's a decent movie, but the problem is that the concept has been done many times before and this one is not better than the previous attempts. Kutcher does a decent job (surprisingly) and some may like it.

Interesting plot but I am still not sold on Ashton Kutcher being a legitimate actor. The best scene is when he wakes up with no arms. I don?t think it is supposed to be funny, but I couldn?t stop laughing at his bad acting.

For a movie with Ashton Kutcher as the main star, The Butterfly Effect isn't so bad. The premise is interesting and the plot twists are pretty good. It gets a little sordid and disturbing in the flashbacks, but overall is a decent film.
