An "M:I" movie that feels right out of Cold War-era Hollywood, "Ghost Protocol" has a little too much humor thrown into it, but the acton scenes are perfect.

Quite satisfying outing from Cruise and co. in the fourth entry in the Mission Impossible franchise. I thought they did a good job of mixing in the action with humor - keeping things tense, while still having a good time. There are some incredible scenes - the story is incredulous to say the least - but it's a lot of fun to watch.

Please,... let this one be the last. It's really getting way over the top and the story is getting weaker by the minute. O.k. the action is good, special effects are o.k. and he, there are even actors in it who can play. but,.... please movie directors, read some books.. there are a thousand good books with great stories that all are top material for a Great movie, not a part two, three of four of a once great film!

i'm not a fan of the mission impossible movies. The first one was ok but it could of been called anything as it had nothing to do with mission impossible really. the 2nd movie was truely awful and laughable ,the 3rd was ok much better, but this movie was very good. even if your not a fan you should like it. enjoyable movie good cast great stunts by cruise ( he done them for real so worth watching for that ) well worth seeing this movie it has all the ingrediants you want to be entertained for afew hours.

It's missing the emotional resonance that JJ Abrams brought to the series that, I think, made the third film the second best of the series (after the first), but Ghost Protocol is still a solid and competently directed action film. Like a Bond film, the movie keeps a quick pace, jumping from action scene to action scene and exotic location to exotic location. The chemistry between the IMF team is likable and carries a lot of the lighter scenes. The action is impressive, particularly a heart-stopping sequence on the world's tallest building, which Cruise reportedly performed himself.

Fun. That pretty much sums it up. The Jeremy Renner/Tom Cruise's wife story line was a waste of time. The twist at the end was unbearably unnecessary. It's also interesting that Ethan Hunt was able to destroy 20+ guys during the prison riot, but couldn't get control of the older gentleman in the automated carport. Those complaints aside, the movie is edge of the seat exciting and fun.

Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol is a 2011 action spy film, and the fourth installment in the Mission: Impossible series. It stars Tom Cruise, who reprises his role of IMF Agent Ethan Hunt, and is director Brad Bird's first live-action film.Mediane movie, too long and a little boring. Cruise just can't reinvent the format of the first and masterpiece one.

Tense, exciting and fun! This is the way action movies should be. One high climbing sequence in particular had me holding my breath. It's easy to claim that this is the best of the 'M:I' franchise and the best action film of 2011.
