Okay I got to say that the sets and the visuals are the only good thing in the movie, the rest of the film is messy and way to may plot holes.

watch it for the visuals. You will be amazed. Unfortunately, lack of a good plot kinda pushed this movie from 'great movies' to 'good movies'.

Almost an effective thriller. The visuals are astounding and obviously influenced by masterpieces of art. The two leads, however, are miscast and distracting, and the plot is all over the place at times. Vincent D'Onofrio, however, is very effective and frightening as the serial killer.

Visually the film has some of the strangest yet interesting scenes. If it was based only on that, the film would get four stars easy. I wish the story and acting would pop as much as the visuals. As such, it can't rise above mediocrity.

A agree with Wolf. It could have been a horror masterpiece w/out J lo. It's freaking thrilling and the performance by Donofrio is spectacular. The visuals and art concepts are incredibles. The music is great too. Fantastic script.

I can't stand Jennifer Lopez as an actress, she plays the same character in every movie, and she doesn't really get me to find her to be believable. The real stars of this movie are Vince Vaughn, and Vincent D'Onofrio. They were the show stealer's. D'Onofrio has always done a great job as a crazy man, he is so over the top in this one and that is what made me keep watching. Just about any other actor in his place and I would have probably fallen asleep during this movie, and this movie would have a higher rating if Jennifer Lopez would just stop acting.. please.. for the love of god and all things holy just leave the spot light and disappear.
