"Mmm, I'm a star! And the audience loves me! And I love them And they love me for lovin' them And I love them for lovin' me And we love each other And that's cause none of us got enough love in our childhoods And that's showbiz... kid." Renée Zellweger and that musical sequence were mesmerizing to watch. Catherine Zeta-Jones, Richard Gere, Queen Latifah, and John C. Reilly were also terrific and each brought their unique style to the character's musical moments.

Always dazzling, mostly entertaining, but never fully developed.

A complete and utter abomination in every sense of the word. I absolutely despise this movie. The "highlight" is watching Richard Gere try to sing, when he can't at all. The lowlight is everything else in this man hating vomit inducing piece of overrated garbage.

A really good film. Still the best musical I've seen from recent years; films just aren't made like this anymore. Fantastic musical numbers and choreography. Catherine Zeta-Jones gives a phenomenal performance; she completely deserved her Oscar! Great film, but it did not deserve Best Picture!

If the soundtrack wasn't so damn catchy, this film might feel pretty empty. A lot of the dramatic moments are going through the motions and don't have the same emotional punch of Moulin Rouge. The song and dance scenes, of which there are many, however, are stellar. An undeserving Best Picture winner, but a great film, nonetheless.

Full of rousing jazzy numbers, humor and sex appeal. It's as entertaining as a musical could be.

While an impressive production, Chicago walks the visual line and teeters back and forth between dazzling and overwhelming.

I love Rob Marshall's epic musical drama about the lives of media and murder. I love this movie!
