Slower paced and less action than the first, but still worth it in the end.

This is a slow burn of a movie, but its anchored by the commanding performance of Ford as Jack Ryan. While not as wild and explosive as the first film, this sequel still captures the same political thriller atmosphere of its predecessor and holds up for fans of the Ryan franchise.
