Biographical film drama directed by Doug Liman and starring Naomi Watts and Sean Penn.[2] It is based on Valerie Plame's memoir, Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House and Joseph C. Wilson's memoir "The Politics of Truth: Inside the Lies that Led to War and Betrayed My Wife's CIA Identity: A Diplomat's Memoir". Naomi Watts stars as Plame and Sean Penn as her husband, Joseph C. Wilson.Dense and complex.

The marriage of Joe Wilson (Sean Penn) and CIA agent Valerie Plame (Naomi Watts) are on the rocks because of political issues. I was thoroughly engaged with the film's plot/story from start to end. The dialogue never bores and the pace of the movie increases when certain information have been leaked. Powerful performances and the additional live material really helped as well. A nice realistic and intellectual drama for anyone to enjoy.

A political thriller and conspiracy all rolled up into one, Fair Game is the story of Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame, who both are involved in investigations leading up to the Iraq War and face consequences when Wilson reports his opinion was reversed. Penn and Watts are pretty good as the married couple, though if there's one thing the film suffers from it's that we never really get to know Joe and Valerie as people, but as victims. However, it's a revealing and at times infuriating story of governmental power and abuse that's pretty engaging all the way through.
