This is a perfect example of what an 80's cop movie should look like. Ridiculous villains who for some reason stand around in a warehouse banging axes together and chanting like their rehearsing for Stomp on Broadway or something. Villains whose goal is some kind of Darwinist philosophy similar to the "Mutant" gang found in the pages of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. Stallone plays an overly tough cop, who chews on matchheads and spits great quotes like, "Don't you know that's bad for you?" when confronted by a thug, the thug replies "What is?" Stallone replies "Me!" Anyways he's tough as nails, the villains are mutant scum, and everyone dies a deserving death in a gruesome way, similar to the Van Damme M.O.

Who wants to see Sylvester Stallone kill a lot of people!? If you said "I do!" Cobra is your movie. Of course, Sylvester Stallone killing a lot of people is all you get - forget about things like plot and characters or other such nonsense. Action and lots of it - but if that's what you're in the mood for, go for it.
