Despite the slow pacing, "Meek's Cutoff" is a rewarding survival story with a moral lesson about blindly following ignorant leaders.

I have to admit that I was disappointed in this movie. The idea was great. A party of settlers going to California. The problem was that there was no water and the people were not to happy with they're wagon master. the acting was superb. I watched it to the end.

I watched this movie waiting & waiting & waiting & waiting for something to happen but nothing ever did.Eventually I just gave up but decided to pick up where I last left off & give it another go a little while later.I wish I would've just left it alone because I was hoping the end would make all the waiting seem worth it.The ending didn't help at all & Meeks Cutoff felt like a total waste of time
