They should just rename Limitless into Wish-fulfillment: The Movie! And it’s a fast paced high concept thriller that mostly delivers. Bradley Cooper displays the wit and charm that made him a capable leading man later in his career.

Eddie Morra: "I was blind but now I see". The story is about man thinks he has solved all his problems when an untested, top-secret drug makes him smarter, leading to financial and social success. But he never considered the side effects or the people who want to keep the drug to remain a secret. A good visual popcorn movie with it's enjoyable scenes.

A really cool movie with an interesting concept, stylish editing, great cinematography, and it moves at an electrifying pace.

The paranoia that drives this film creates a brilliant atmosphere, and parts of the scope of the plot are well-executed. The problem is that the film shoots for an ambitious plot arc and has to sometimes gloss over large plot holes with Cooper's voice-over narration. Although the narration aims for a "Fight Club" level of sardonic wit, sometimes it is over-used and used too much to provide unnecessary exposition. The film also has a fairly anticlimatic conclusion, given the tension and dramatics that came before. To be fair, I saw the Unrated version, which was longer, and thought that with some trimming, the film could have been tighter and better, so, perhaps, the theatrical version was a little bit better.

I generally see anything that De Niro is in so for me that was the draw. Up until I saw Bradley Cooper in this movie, I didn't think much of him. I fell in love with him and his character in this movie. I wouldn't consider this a thriller. I think it's a total date movie.

I really wanted to dislike Bradley Cooper in his role, but I'll be damned if I probably wouldn't have done the same thing when presented with a drug that turns you into a mix of guru and playboy - it was a fun ride and makes me think that Cooper needs to be leading man more often.

This movie was much better than what I thought it'd be. The story is pretty good. And, the scene where Cooper's character almost died is fantastic!

An okay thriller, the script seems fine but I'll admit, I got bored a few times. At times there seems to be a lot going on and a lot of characters/plots to keep up with don't help. I'm never really impressed with Bradley Cooper and his "acting" so that might explain why I'm pretty indifferent to this movie. The ending was pretty over the top and unsatisfying, in my mind, but I suppose a thriller like this will please some fans of the actors.

"Limitless" centers on Edie Morra (Bradley Cooper) who thinks that no future awaits for him. Until his ex-brother-in-law offered him a drug called NZT. This untested drug allows 100% access to his brain and as he take one tablet a day, he becomes limitless, does things perfectly and aggressively. What I love about this film is that it is easy to understand and is presented in a way I didn't expect- with no complication. And I think, Cooper is perfect on his role. Also, good to see Robert De Niro playing as Carl Van Loon. I like it, seriously.

The question comes about as to throw everything away that the pill has provided Eddie Morra (Bradley Cooper) with and live this succesfull life or to stll consume it and eventually die. So, to live long withought the "limitless effect" or to live a short and prosperous life. You decide.
