Dark and refreshingly original, "Looper" is excellently thought out, and even manages to be quite touching.

Will watch this movie again. First time I sincerely appreciate Emily Blunt's performance and JGL remains one of my favorite actors.

Looper is a really good sci-fi/action thriller. Although the second half of the film tapers off towards the end, the film is held together by a solid concept, great direction, and good performances, even if some things are left unanswered.

As far as "sci-fi" films go, In todays age they are getting better. Not confusing or so unbelieveable its hard to watch. It's exciting. Pause it when I get up, so I don't miss a thing proves to me that it was a worthy new kind of sci-fi film. Levitt's makeup, interesting. Storyline, fun. Action, memorable. That's important.

Excellent movie with depth and creative inspiration. The Acting is awesome and whoever put the cast together did it well. Pierce Gagnon is going to be a gift to the big screen for many years ahead. See it and then watch it again you will not be sorry.

A breath of fresh air after a disappointing summer for mainstream releases. Rian Johnson's Looper is an exhilarating time-travel/sci-fi action flick. But it's at it's best when it deals with the human drama and twists involved therein. The performances are great across the board. Filled with plenty of suspense, fast pacing, and style to spare. Looper is simply one of the best releases so far this year. You won't be able to take a breath until the lights come up.

I want to say right off the bat that Looper was one of the best films I have seen this year. An original movie that leaves you thinking, not in disappointment but just lets you go over the movie again and again. I went to bed last night thinking about it, and woke up this morning thinking about it. I love when a movie makes me do that. A movie about choices, right and wrong and the consequenses of your actions... Fantasticly done!

The best movie of the year, so-far. It really makes you think. Not about the plot itself, it's not a confusing as some would have you believe. In fact, it's not confusing at all. But it makes you think about life and what would you do to save someone's life. Would you sacrifice yourself? Would you murder a child to save yourself? This film tackles some pretty heavy moral issues. Also, I loved the soundtrack. Even the use of some pop songs was great. Especially Richard & Linda Thompson's "I Want to See the Bright Lights Tonight." Go see this actually good sci-fi movie.
