I like Tom Cruise. I liked the pacing and unfolding of the mystery at hand. I liked the cheeky wit to the humor. I loved the way the action was shot. I just didn't care as much for the story. Not all of the plot reveals were smooth and the resolution wasn't all too satisfying given that I found the plan behind it all to be kind of mundane to the circumstances. It's a shame, because the first thirty minutes were quite awesome. Felt like a departure from the normal procedure of these types of movies. I still mostly enjoyed this movie for the positives I mentioned up front.

Given the reviews - turned out better than I was expecting. I didn't mind the characters, though the plot was overly convoluted. Still, unlike say a Bourne or Mission Impossible - I don't think this will take off as an action series but even if things get complicated, it's not a bad actioner.

Like Mission Impossible but simply not good. Cruise is as flat as a pancake. I don't know why he continuously selects action only roles. He needs to skip these and add some depth. The story is weak as well. Forgettable.

My parents loved this movie. I didn't love it, but I did like it a great deal. There were plenty of interesting twists and funny jokes.
