Too safe for its own good - it's like a live-action Disney version of the much darker fairytale. Though it has some visual panache, the story just doesn't work for me. Here's hoping Lily Collins has better luck, I think she has a good future with the right projects. This just isn't the one.

Another fairy tale converted to the silver screen. Not even remotely close to the original story, modernized costumes and humor was dry, acting was not convincing, etc. This film even makes the experienced artists look bad. Prolonged for such a simple plot. Only noteworthy aspects of the picture were the sets, costumes, graphics and locations. Mirror Mirror is a dreadful watch, poorly written and should have been animated instead of live action since the overall feel was cartoonish. Even the lead sounded and acted like Brendan Frasier, this reason alone makes you avoid this.

Anyone who likes fairytales, has to see this movie. This one is funny. It does not comply with the real story but this time it does not matter because no one knows the real story anyway. No remake of any other movie or series. Finaly a stand alone and a good one. Action without blood. curses withoud the heavy words, so it is possible?

Not a great movie at all. The story was week and the directing was way over the top. The actors were the only redeeming part of this movie. The dwarves were a treat, the princes did the best he could with the part he had and time you give Nathan Lane a part like he was in this movie he is going to shine. Julia Roberts was really the shinning star that made this movie even remotely worth watching. her portrayal of the Queen was fun and evil all at the same time. Honestly if you take Julia Roberts out of the equation this movie would be horrible. So in the end wait for cable to see this if you have to see it, other wise you will not miss much if you completely skip it.

This may just be my opinion but it was just boring. Snow white just runs around like a helpless little girl and gets herself captured by seven dwarfs. The only thing that saves her is one dwarf having a creepy crush on her and her dislike of the queen. The dwarfs train her to fight and of course a very predictable thing happens, the takes down the queen without really trying and the kingdom begins signing and dancing again. Good for kids, but not really many others.
