It wasn't as bad as everyone thought it was. Almost everything about this movie is great, an ensemble cast, a brilliant book, an award winning director and producer. So when does everything so right become so wrong, oh I know it’s in the concept of the movie. Don’t get me wrong, I love the whole plot to destroy the very foundation of christianity. But there is this unexplainable thing that really makes you hate it. Everything else is very good nonetheless. I’m really starting to sound ironic, sorry for that.

The most fun I had in ages. laughing at it was so fun. Jean Reno was good, but EVERYTHING else was just ehhh. I decided not to see this, but then almost two years later, I thought why not? A big waste of time, except for the aforementioned laughs.

The book had me quickly turning pages, the movie had me constantly clicking "info" on my remote to see when it would finally be over.

A huge disappointment in Ron Howard! I must first admit that I never read the book, but heard great things about it. The film is not good, nor is anything about it. I appreciate the concept, but nothing went together. It is a silly mess.

Loved the book, not so much the film. The casting is the main problem. There is no chemistry between the leads. Adapting such a text-dense novel is likewise a tough task, and it doesn't hold up that well. A big disappointment.
