Really lame prequel. The two leads do their best to imitate Carrey and Daniels' characters, but it's all a waste in a movie that is mostly devoid of laughs. A few chuckles of stupid banter and callbacks to the first film are the only things that save it from the lowest rating. Don't waste your time.

Not nearly as good as the first, but there are a few really funny scenes in this one. Mostly the ones with Bob Saget. I think he was the only reason this movie was even a little bit funny.

Way to ruin a perfectly good comedy. I don't care how good Eric Christian Olsen and Derek Richardson are good at aping - they aren't Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. I felt annoyed and maybe just a little angry. Stick to the original.

My friend told me this movie was good. I rented it, fully expecting to hate it. But it was pretty good. And funny. I mean the writers had to be smart in order to make it that dumb. Get it?
