It becomes excruciatingly bleak even for Batman, but there's something admirable about a movie that does it so fearless and effectively.

If you want a Superman and Batman showdown, this is the movie for you! Another popular superhero works for the government and a long time rival revives his presence. More action and gruesome violence in full display. The only surprising sequence was Batman using a gun for a certain sequence. Of course for die hard fanatics of the Dark Knight, he never uses a gun, which shows his lack of aim during the movie. Even a certain female superhero was inserted as a victim of Joker. At least this one had more humor than the first. Has one of the coolest twists for an animated picture. Look out Batman fanatics, it's got to be one of the best.

Yet, even more violent than Part 1. This continuation is pure action. The story takes unforeseen dark turns and throws in a few surprise guests. A compelling finale to this two part-er.
