The story is about a classic fantasy fair tale with good princesses and evil queens - thrust into modern day New York City. This movie was enjoyable for the family and not as terrible as I thought it will be.

For anyone that loves Disney films, Enchanted is a welcome inside joke - a film that celebrates the happiness and magic that anoints childhood animated classics, complete with lots of tongue-in-cheek humor and some inspired songs of its own. The bubbly Amy Adams is captivating, matched only by the loutish and silly James Marsden. A Disney classic in its own right.

A surprisingly charming film, I went into "Enchanted" not fully expecting to enjoy myself (its was a family thing with the niece), but I was dumbfoundedly surprised by how much I enjoyed the film. Amy Adams is one of the most sparklingly gifted actresses currently working and adds much appeal to this film, portraying the character in an animatedly real type of way. Patrick Dempsey broke a bit out of his acting shell to do something more silly and less sexual than most of his other work would allow him the opportunity to be. And James Marsden, Timothy Spall, Susan Sarandon, and Idina Menzel offer a foundation of the musical arts that create a well-rounded film the whole family can enjoy!

This is a great spoof of the classic Disney movie. The movie is very funny and inventive. The songs were really really funny. This movie works because it is well cast and well written. If you like fairy tales or Disney movies you should give it a try.

Again it's when fantasia and the real world collide, or merge. Very creative plot and subplots. Patrick Dempsey was the perfect actor for the role, and Amy Adams was beyond amazing! Marsden was very funny, I didn't expect him to do good in comedy since I've known him more from X-MEN. Definitely a must-see.

I can't add much that other reviews haven't said already: this is a cute, fun movie. The musical numbers were enjoyable and the actors well-cast. This works as a good date movie, or a nice family film.
