What can be more scary than watching a person you love transform into something evil? Not knowing what's causing it. The Exorcist plays on those fears and blasts it back in full force. Evil has never looked so innocent and horrifying.

Well, I have the greatest respect for this movie, but I just never thought of it as scary. It is creepy at times and you should see it for its historic cult impact.
