Unsettling and ultimately unsatisfying - Eli Roth's love letter to the short-lived but visceral Italian "cannibal" films has no shortage of gory visuals, but while it has a snarky story about activists and motives, the characters and acting fall short. Plus, it's just not that scary - gross, but that's about it.
