American spy working with a Russian spy is definitely an interesting plot. Enough action, enough humor, enough drama. Watchable!

I'm not sure why this didn't do better. For once, both Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer manage more than one-dimensional characters and you can't go wrong adding Alicia Vikander to the mix. It was fun, it had great action pieces, humor, a bit of sex appeal and overall was a decent spy action comedy. I highly doubt this will get a sequel, which is too bad, as the potential is great and in a world of gritty Bourne and Bond this throwback to a more easy-going time was a fine change of pace.
