The best scene in this movie is, of course, Ben Stein saying, "Bueller.... Bueller.... Bueller." lol. Love it.

It's hard to believe that such popping, clever dialogue was written in 6 days. An energetic, influential, time capsule of a film. Unique characters, great soundtrack, and a parade scene that stands out as one of the most memorable 80's movie moments.

Ferris Bueller decides to take the day off from school (again), so with his best friend, girlfriend, and a red convertible, they do whatever comes their fancy in the city, all the while trying not to get caught by their principle. This is such a funny movie. Even though it made it predictable, everything went exactly right for Ferris, he practically got away with everything, thanks to his 'quick/smart thinking', whihc I guess made it sortta unrealistic, but oh well - its and awesome movie!I

Another Hughes-ish 80s film. (But where's Molly Ringwald?) This was such a great film in the 80s. Broderick was great as the cool, cunning Ferris. Funny adventure.

One of the best ROMCOM films ever One Man's Struggle To Take It Easy more A high school wise guy is determined to have a day off from school, despite of what the principal thinks of that, whist being chased by Suspicious dean of students Ed Rooney knows all about Ferris, but can never catch him. Ferris' sister Jeanie is also frustrated that Ferris always gets away with his tricks and she doesn't. Ferris is an 'angel' in his parents eyes. It's Ferris' day off, he's out to enjoy himself, and he does!

A good "day off" movie that has a few laughs and some good tricks to keep us interested. I would say this is more of an 80's pop movie as it is a little dated. But, recommended none the less.

Classic. Matthew Broderick will forever be remembered for taking moments to talk to the audience, the most elaborate plans and getting away with it all.
