On the one hand, this sequel in the FD series has pretty annoying characters. But on the other hand, it has some of the best kills in the series so far. They are truly horrifying and grisly. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is a better protagonist than A.J. Cook in the last movie.

Somehow I missed out on this one when it came out originally, but thanks to Netflix, I finally caught up. The most interesting thing to me was to see Mary Elizabeth Winstead in one of her earlier roles. The film itself is OK - I still think part 2 had the best and most memorable opening. The death scenes are good (if far-feteched, but Final Destination, OK?) and the ending is a kicker. Overall, if you've enjoyed the series, this one still keeps the spirit alive.

This one is lighter and less foreboding. The kills get even more over-the-top, creative and gory. It's fun mostly for kicks, not for thrill. Would've been a good end to a trilogy.

It had different characters than the first two, but was still pretty good and entertaining (I saw it on Valentine's Day, ha ha). After Hostel, this series got a lot gorier. As if horror fans want to see blood and grotesque torture scenes that go on forever. Not really. But mostly this was an entertaining "ride".
