I have not seen the previous movie. I guess it's more of the same except less expensive looking than this. I watched the show as a kid yet oddly never saw any of the live action films with puppets so I've no comment on those. I'll concede that the action is appropriately cartoony and ott. But that begs the question: Why not a full CGI cartoon instead of this Michael Bay crap?
