Somewhere Between Everything and Nothing

This swift documentary covers aspects of the Bond movies not often seen/heard. There's some insight into 007 creator Ian Flemming's history; including his inspirations for Bond and his deal with the eventual fame of the character. However, the bulk of the piece focuses on the much less discussed story of the producers of the movie franchise. Ambitions, partnerships, detachments, and creative choices that all went into the varied films of this popular long running series. It's a well done, but smaller endeavor that feels like a great extra in a special edition DVD set. Having all the people involved with the films present could've boasted a much more in-depth retrospective experience on the franchise. Bond fans will need to see this, regardless.
