An extremely flat and dreary retelling of the classic tale of derring-do full of pointless slo mo and unconvincing action, cast with pretty boys rather than actors who have charisma or any kind of chemistry. Reasonably nice to look at but ultimately dull.

alright I haven't read the book, but this one diverges A LOT from the 1939 version, which was the one I grew up with. Do yourself a favor and watch that one.
