This movie could have been my all-time favorite indie film if it wasn't for the fact that one (or maybe two?) of the characters I am supposed to root for to overcome his trauma/remorse is an effin murderer, how am I supposed to feel empathy for such a person? Aside from that, the movie has a lot of charm and the story is well-stitched in how the characters and parallel plots are intertwined.
