The story is about a life-long bachelor who has no compulsion against using women, Connor Mead is a real buzz-kill at his younger brother Paul's wedding. On the verge of ruining the event, he is visited by his jilted exes and taken on a journey of self-discovery. This movie is not funny just boring.

I have to say that I liked this movie. I feel that this represents quite a few people that i know. I just wish that someone would visit them and scare then into not being like matthew McConaughey's character. Over all it was enjoyable, even a movie my husband liked. I agree that is was a poor remake of a classic, but it, i hope, makes all the man-whores think before they pickup their next prey.

This film tried profusely to mimic and deviate away from the Scrooge story, but failed miserably. The ghosts depicted were actual jilted exes from MCCONAUGHEY's love life. Perhaps an attempt to be a little different from The Christmas Carol version. No harm done. But all throughout the film, you can smell Ebenezer Scrooge all the way. Cheesy but cute.
