The cast upstages the murder mystery plotline, but there is enough moody drama to go along with the swampy atmosphere to make for a both visually and emotionally satisfying yarn.

A great cast stuck playing stock cliches you'd find in any 'Deep South' mystery drama. The one interesting thing is the psychic angle. Blanchett is tasked with carrying the movie as a conflicted clairvoyant and she's fine.

When a local woman goes missing, her fiancee turns to Annabelle Wilson, a local clairvoyant for help. Although she is reluctant, that doesn't stop her from having visions of the woman. Sam raimi is good at two things and that is making stuff look creepy and the other is chilling and that's why I liked this movie. The cast do a fine job in there roles and the directing pretty good.

Saw this flick at a Redbox & decided to take a chance on it & Im so glad I did.A very good movie

First watch I thought it was absolutely captivating. The second watch I was disturbed about how terrible it looked. I was totally taken out of the movie. Very disappointing.
