This is a bad movie; often regarded as one of the worst films of all time, but that is an exaggeration. The performances are fine for the most part. The problem with Gigli is that it is weighed down heavily by loads and loads of dialogue and plot...none of it is of any relevance; the plot is incomprehensible and the dialogue and conversations are tedious and overwrought. Also, it thinks its a mobster film that works as a romantic comedy, but in reality its neither. In the end, we get this boring ass film. A bad film, terrible even, but I have seen worse.

Such a shame Christopher Walken and Al Pacino were involved in this bust. Everything was just a waste of time, the plot non-existent and acting feels forced. There was no on-screen chemistry from Larry Gigli (Ben Affleck) and Ricki (Jennifer Lopez). Because of its technical incapacity, it deservingly was rewarded by six Razzies: Worst Picture, Worst Actor, Worst Actress, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay, and Worst Screen Couple. You can detect a really bad movie just by watching a few scenes, take Gigli for example.

Every time I think Hollywood is incapable of going any lower, along comes something like Gigli. There is nothing likable about this film. Not the protagonists, not the supporting characters, nothing. From the smug, grinning face of Ben Affleck (which made me alternately want to vomit and go on a murderous rampage through my hometown) to Jennifer Lopez, who has by now squandered any credit she gained for her admittedly luminous turns in the Cell and Angel Eyes, to the kid with a learning disablity, who I think is played by Justin Bartha in a poor imitation of Rain Man, there is nothing redeemable about this flick. Skip it at all costs.
