Stanley Donen may have never topped Singin' in the Rain, but perhaps this other film he did is worth checking out, despite Jean Simmons' overacting and Robert Mitchum's acting, who seems anything but enthusiastic making this film. Overall, it's a 6/10, but perhaps Cary Grant delivers a 10/10 performance. Without him, this film would have been extremely dreadful. It is like he didn't know the script was less than worthy and treated it as if it were brilliant.
