Even though its energy overpowers its grip on story and character, "Grease" is proudly cheesy and still, after all these years, among the most recognizable movie musicals ever.

I don't do musicals,but it has a certain kitsch 50s charm and Stockard Channing. The sequel was shocking though.

A fun musical that basks in its cheesiness and contains a light-hearted and catchy soundtrack, plus some great performances from Travolta and Newton-John.

One of the best of the more modern musicals. A great story of bad boy Danny and good girl Sandy. The songs are great and the musical numbers silly and over the top. Stockard Channing steals all the scenes she is in as Rizo. A very fun musical set in the 50s.
