This is probably my favorite Adam Sandler movie (which isn't saying a terrible lot - oddly his humor has seemed to get less funny ever since I got older than 15 or so). It has some very funny moments, some great one liners, and all-in-all is pretty entertaining. Unfortunately I found many of the supporting characters and cameos were actually funnier than Sandler himself. Sandler can't seem to break out of the same character's mold, the best he seems to do is to vary its intensity. If your looking for a good laugh, try this movie out. Skip his more recent awful films (8 Crazy Nights, Little Nicky, etc.).

Adam Sandler really shows his talent for making a goofy movie will win audiences. Sandler plays Happy Gilmore a man that has just broken up with his girlfriend (and keeps telling people she died, in very funny ways) and he finds that his grandmother is being evicted from her house for not paying taxes. While he wants to be a hockey player he discovers that he has a talent for smashing a golf ball. The movie is creative and funny. If you want a silly comedy then check this one out.. and if you have seen it before, watch it again!

Pretty much vintage Adam Sandler - rude, crude, hilarious at times and purely juvenile. But I will say, golf was never this much fun to watch - and Bob Barker has never looked better.
