Uneven but still a fun ride - the fact we even got this film at all is a testament to just how much this film meant. Plus it's just good vibes all around, especially as Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter really do fit well together, even as washed-up, middle-aged rockers. And bringing back William Sadler as Death (who made an entire bass album) is the icing on the cake. The secondary plot of gathering the greatest rock band (including the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Louis Armstrong, Mozart, Ling Lun, a cave woman drummer and, uh, Kid Cudi) was a nice throwback to the original film. While I know it can't compare to the first two, it's still a fun ride - so be excellent to each other and party on, dudes.

It won't ever be as iconic as its predecessors, but "Face the Music" is likely the best "Bill & Ted" movie you could possibly get in this day and age.
