The best out of the last three, but not the best by far by any means. Daniel Radcliffe needs to stop "pretending" and Rupert Grint just needs to stop period. Emma Watson needs to find a new way to look sad, and the ever-talented Alan Rickman and Helena Bonham Carter are the only reasons to watch, since Ralph Fiennes doesn't make an appearance.

Overall I liked the movie, but Harry Potter is still a pussy. What the hell is up with his lack of badassness! I want a real wizard that kicks some butt. Dumbledorf was pretty kick butt though, very much like Gandolf.

At his sixth year at Hogwarts, Harry Potter has more Voldemort to deal with-along with hormones running high. A good portion of this movie is the students and their relationships, but also Harry finding out Voldemort's past to help him defeat him in the future. I have to congratulate the director, however, since the acting was much improved, and also balancing out darker moments with humourous ones. All in all this is a good installment in the series, though in my opinion, could have touched on the subject of the Half-Blood Prince a little more, so the title would be relevant to the movie.

Finally, David Yates is revitalizing the Harry Potter series (it was much needed). The teen angst/flirtation thing was cute to a degree. Apparently, the book went in a completely different direction, but I didn't mind, being pretty ignorant. There were a couple astonishing revelations. I recommend it.

My second favorite book is also my second favorite film in the series. The film really stood on it's own better than the previous one. For once the writers added more of those 'teenage' moments sprinkled throughout the books that have been missing in the films. It was an added bonus, in another great entry, to this superb series.

It was by far the best of the Harry Potter series, but a total let down for the faithful readers. Most of the memories that made the book what it was while setting up everything for the final battle is cut out and/or drastically changed. I thought they spent way too much time on all the teen drama. Puh-lease. I get it, less love triangle more of the action that the 6th installment had to offer. But still worth the money to go see it.

Harry Potter is back again in the sixth installment of the series, this time working with Dumbledore to discover Voldermort's weakness. HBP is probably the most challenging adaptation yet, as the book, in my opinion, is mainly exposition for the seventh and final book/movie. Regardless, David Yates creates Harry's world brilliantly, and though big scenes are cut (as usual), it doesn't hurt the franchise or overall story at all. The acting is the strongest it's ever been, the visuals are still amazing, and once again, you are sucked into the story of a young hero embracing his destiny.
