An interesting premise for a rom-com that is somehow rendered completely generic. However, the movie is watchable enough thanks to its surprisingly good cast. Seriously, Sigourney Weaver, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ray Liotta, Gene Hackman, Jason Lee, and Anne freaking Bancroft? At the least, you won't be bored. Weaver looks like she's having some fun for once.

This seems like a weird fit for Sigourney Weaver. The movie just was not well written and the plot just doesn't really work.
