It's more contrived than A Hard Day's Night, but the music's every bit as great and the Fab Four are still fab at this point. Goofy plot. Who the hell cares? This kind of movie ain't about plot.

Not up to par with "A Hard Days Night" but not the worst film ever. It's very colorful, and that about sums up what I think. The music might be slightly better than their previous movie.

When "Help" begins, a fan has sent Ringo a ring that he can't seem to take off. The Beatles later learn that the ring is actually from an obscure Eastern culture, and whoever wears the ring must be sacrificed. The Beatles, for Ringo's sake, disguise themselves and take off around the world. From what I understand this movie is what the Monkee's were based upon. The only difference is that the Monkee's were successful in making their jokes funny. The movie is a colorful, strange, 60's film. Over all most people prefer "Hard Days Night" to this movie. It's not great, but it has its moments.
