Mel Gibson is pretty good in this black comedy-thriller where he plays a grizzled and gruff Santa Claus. Yes, that's right. The guy that played Mad Max, Marty Riggs, Maverick, and William Wallace is playing Old Saint Nick. It's too bad that the rest of the movie is actually kind of boring. There's some action near the end but the movie isn't quite as funny or exciting as you'd expect.
