The build-up is slow and the payoff not nearly good enough even though the trio of main actors (Ilana Glazer, Justin Theroux and Pierce Brosnan) play their parts well. Probably holds more scares for those who are going through or could be going through a pregnancy (Not me at all). Solid but unspectacular.

Those wanting a quesy, Polanski-esque thriller about pregnancy will have to look elsewhere. "False Positive" lacks a generous portion of the subtle tension and thrills found in the classic "Rosemary's Baby" and most of the modern A24 horror hits.
