Go watch the movie. I highly recommend it. And that's it. Go into this as blindly as possible. You should know absolutely nothing about the film. The things you should know are the title and where you can watch this. However, if I have to say something about it, I must say, despite liking it and how much the movie keeps you in the dark, wondering what's going on, I have a feeling on a second watch, it will lose its appeal. Because once you know all its secrets, the less enjoyable it is, and you're patiently waiting for it to get to the point.

As unpredictable, deep, and relentlessly chilling as the basement beneath the house it's set in, "Barbarian" proves that some horror tropes can feel both retro and fresh at the very same time.
