Nature Trail to Hell - sadly NOT in 3D. This divisive horror follows Johnny, our hulking killer - and I do mean follow as a good chunk of the film is simply the killer walking in the woods - but if you like classic slasher horror, it's a nice twist on the classic genre. While there are only a handful of kills, they certainly make an impact. I wasn't a big fan of the ending (especially the bear attack monologue) but I appreciate the effort from director Chris Nash to try something different.

A slasher art-film? Now I've seen everything. "In a Violent Nature" starts out interesting, but soon begins a steady decline into pretentiousness and more often than not emboldens cliches rather than elevate or reinvent them.
