Standard '90s slasher movie with the same kind of star power as SCREAM but none of the wit or irony. Characters are dumb not because that's the joke but mainly because they're badly written. Not gonna lie, both Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jennifer Love Hewitt looked gorgeous in this.

A horrible ripoff of slasher films that follows the same premise as the Scream franchise, without the tongue-in-cheek wit. The plot is rife with coincidences and lines that are groan-worthy. The last few minutes are supposed to set up the sequel, but come off as an unnecessary "boo" silly scare scene.

First of all, this movie slasher was pretty good, but it sure isn't the "Scream" type. The plot was so unoriginal, but it was surprising on how much suspense the movie had. The only reason there was good dialouge was because Kevin Williamson wrote the script. The movie was actually past decent. The movie was also great, because of its great young cast members: Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Ryan Phillippe.

The mystery and suspense is intriguing, but only up until the last 10 min. The ending just doesn't make any sense. The reveal of the killer is very hard to face, because we have no idea who this person is and their motive is not made clear. It feels like a complete waste, when we (don't) learn the truth.

Coming out around the same time as "Scream", "I Know What You Did Last Summer" is one of the modern classics of horror. With an all-star, sizzling-hot cast, this movie does more than terrify its viewers, it shoves the audience into a terrifying reality that our sins always find us out. Mwahahaha.

This was a great teen slasher flick. This came out during that teen movie era and I think everyone had a good time watching this one.

Throw some teen hotties and hunks into trouble, provide a predictable slasher cum mystery tale with a twist and what do you get? If you said Scream, sorry, you'll have to settle for its slower, dimmer cousin. Tries and fails to win me over.
