"I saw you... I saw you in an orange grove." When you thought the movie had a simple story turns into something more...strange. James Mangold did a great job of keeping my attention as everything unfolds. Its set in one location during a terrible storm and ten characters are stuck at a motel and must face the longest night of their lives. The ending didn't make too much sense when given some thought, but other than that, it was a solid watch.

Suspenseful re-imagining of Agatha Christie's AND THEN THERE WERE NONE.

People got trapped in a motel because of flooding and an unexpected killer. Malcolm suffers dissociative identity disorder based on a journal. Sufficient character development with sincere performances all around. Ray Liotta was the definite standout. Score and premise similar to Psycho. Execution, pace of the story, editing and direction made the film interesting. A type of thriller that keeps its viewer engaged until its conclusion. Only reservation this reviewer had were the believability of the plot and it's possibility of killing off each personality since there were 10. Identity is a creative well-casted picture that can be enjoyed.

Mildly suspenseful mind game that unfolds nicely. The ending is a strange twist that is not easily guessed, but will leave some aggravated.

The suspense and terror created in this film is real, right up to the third act, when the big twist ending successfully erases any built-up suspense with a silly execution.

John Cusack is one of my favorite actors so I am a little biased with this movie. But I truly believe that it is one of the best thrillers I have seen. I have picked up new things each time I have watched it and it hasn't lost its newness.

A pretty original idea that works most of the time. The ending left a lot of people torn - but I wasn't expecting anything less. It was a little cliche, but it's hard to find a completely original film nowadays.
