Lightweight and hard to get sucked into, Woody Allen's serious dramas improved with the likes of "September" and "Match Point."

An absolute boring, too much cerebral and strange Woody Allen movie.Three sisters, Renata (Diane Keaton), Flyn (Kristin Griffith), and Joey (Mary Beth Hurt) live through the painful separation of their parents. Their father (E. G. Marshall) parts from their controlling and mentally unstable but artistically inclined mother, Eve (Geraldine Page), going on to marry a more "normal" but plainer woman (Maureen Stapleton).

Although not Woody Allen's best, it's certainly not his worst as some claim!
