Michael (Tim Allen) is a New York City workaholic businessman who is about to get married soon to fashion designer Charlotte (Lolita Davidovich ), but first he needs to get a divorce signature from his ex-wife Patricia, who is living somewhere in the Venezuela. Michael tracks down his estranged wife to the Amazon jungle; and finds out for the first time he has fathered a 13-year-old-son, Mimi-Siku (Sam Huntington ) who now that he's become a man to the tribe, wishes to see the city with his father. So Michael takes Mimi-Siku to New York where he succeeds in turning his dad's life upside down, causing him a world of stress and aggravation. Very funny film, Martin Short is hilarious, and Leelee Sobieski, as Sam's teenage love interest is oh so sweet.
