This was ridiculously silly. If Watts made her sappy doe-eyed face at Kong one more time, I would have screamed. I couldn't find anything redeeming about this corny film.

After this movie Peter Jackson Should be taken out back and shot twice, in the head like the mob do it. This movie was pure crap, if it wasn't for the bad cgi. Then it was acting by Jack Black and Adrian Brody and the seriously bad editing the only good thing that you got to stare at Naomi Watts plus it was 1 hr and 15 minutes too long. I mean if your going to make a movie that long, it better be damn good and it wasn't. Good thing it was not in the theater that long

This was a good movie, which is handy 'cause it's like three hours long and it's EVERY MINUTE of those three hours. It's like they had all these ideas for action sequences and couldn't bring themselves to eliminate a single one of them.

Some parts of this movie amaze me, while others drag and are unimportant. There is one scene that is absolutely incredible, involving giant bugs, odd creatures and the bottom of a river. The original is better, but still see this one once.

The special effects are still amazing and Peter Jackson is passionate about King Kong, but sometimes the movie relies too heavily on the effects, and not enough on the "special". Still a good effort and worth watching at least once.
