I've seen this movie thousands of times and I still love it! it has both funny and sad moments. One of mmy favorite scenes is the dancing one in the bar! just amazing.

Despite a talented cast and some funny moments, this movie leans too much on sports cliches and doesn't quite rise above the average sports film. It has its moments of greatness, but, the third act is far too predictable and rings a little hollow.

A very entertaining and often funny baseball story. One of the better sports movies I've seen.

This is a funny, though often touching story of a female baseball team. It gets a bit mellodramatic at times, but manages to keep a pretty good tone. Tom Hanks really hits a home run as the drunk, dirty, and kind of mean coach. It also proves that girls are better as they can do everything a male athlete can do, but in a skirt.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It's probably the best movie Madonna has ever done.

I loved this one. Not only funny but also exciting, dramatic and touching at times. Hanks is wonderful. The only thing I would have changed would be replacing Lori Petty with, well, anyone else. She failed miserably at making her character one that I had any empathy for. O'Donnell, Madonna and Lovitz are also great. So many funny lines in this movie.

The only film with Rosie O'Donnell, Lori Petty and Jon Lovitz... and I can actually watch all the way through and be entertained - in a good way. As sports movies go, this isn't anything special, but it works well enough.
