Rather better than the dismal third instalment and Jet Li's star presence is a welcome addition, but we've seen it all before.

Lorna Cole is pregnant with LAPD sergeant Martin Riggs' baby. Roger Murtaugh's daughter Rianne is carrying the child of Lee Butters (Chris Rock), who were married secretly. Wah Sing Ku (Jet Li) high-ranking Triad negotiator who murders the captain for letting the cops know about the Triad's secret plans. More entertaining than the previous film, Lethal Weapon 4 is not a perfect ending to a popular franchise, but still provided the balance of action, humor and a finally a challenging antagonist.

Just felt too routine and not near as fun as the previous films.

Pretty disappointing entry into the Lethal Weapon series. The characters are all back and have some good moments, but this film is less urgent and brutal than the first two films and relies more on Joe Pesci's comedic relief. Chris Rock playing a (relatively) straight man is weird, too.

This was my first Lethal Weapon movie and i did not want to see it. After seeing it on the big screen I thought it was fantastic and so glad I saw it. I enjoyed the three before as well. Number four will continue to be my favorite, but I can appreciate what came before it.

Loses points for giving Joe Pesci more screen time and throwing in Chris Rock. This essentially tips the scale too far into the comedy and not enough into the action. Still, Jet Li makes a great villain - small and deadly.
