JIM CARREY is the best. He's a genre of his own! Cannot sub, cannot replicate this guy. Each film is unique. This one is something esle. A shrewd lawyer faces the greatest challenge of his life: TO NOT TELL A LIE FOR ONE WHOLE DAY! It's not that he had any choice. He's been vexed. By his own son's wish during his birthday party. You can just begin to visualize images in your mind of what was about to take place. And the only thing he could definitely not lie about was his love for his son.

Not my favorite Jim Carrey film, but not his worst, Liar Liar manages to mix Carrey's gift of physical comedy with a pretty good story that even manages to get somewhat emotional. It does nothing special for me, but it's a decent comedy.
