Salma Hayek and Jared Leto are both excellent as a murderous pair of con artists in the 1940s. John Travolta is not bad as the lead detective but much of his own story seems half finished. James Gandolfini and Scott Caan fare better as his fellow wisecracking cops.

1 of the worsest movies Ive ever watched.I couldnt even sit through it all.If you want to see this movie the way it shouldve been done then go see The Honeymoon Killers

There are some fairly good sequences in this direct-to-DVD potboiler, although it's difficult to find anything interesting in Travolta's hangdog detective and the performances of Jared Leto and Salma Heyek veer between irritating and accurately jolting. It just can't decide who to focus on or why the audience should really care. A tough sell. Final Grade: C
